How to dry chickpeas?
Pre-treatment (Soak or Boil)
将干鹰嘴豆浸泡在冷水中8-12小时(或热水中2-3小时),直到它们膨胀变软。或者煮15-20分钟,直到半熟。
Drain the water
使用筛子将其沥干,或用厨房纸擦干以减少干燥时间。
Lay them on trays
Spread chickpeas in a single layer on the drying tray. Don’t stack them.
If making seasoned snacks, lightly spray with oil and sprinkle with salt or chili powder at this step.
Set temperature and time
在60–70°C(140–160°F)下干燥6–8小时。在干燥过程中翻动鹰嘴豆一次或两次。
How to choose a chickpea drying machine?
For small-scale and low-budget:
If you have a limited budget, small production needs, want to keep a more natural taste, and are not in a rush, a drying room is a good choice.

For fast drying and crispy snacks:
If you need quick drying with sterilization, are producing ready-to-eat crispy chickpeas, and require short drying time with large-scale production, then a microwave drying machine is more suitable.
